B-CON software from ICONAG certified according to latest BACnet standard

New confirmation for ICONAG-Leittechnik in Idar-Oberstein: Their MBE (management and operating equipment) software has been certified as B-AWS (Bacnet Advanced Workstation) according to the latest BACnet Revision 19. "We are pleased to now also have certification according to the latest standard," says Managing Director Christian Wild. "The so-called BTL listing gives building owners the assurance that the software fully complies with the formulated requirements of BACnet International."

In addition, based on the numerous projects implemented, the ICONAG management and operating device with energy management system offers many further BACnet functionalities from which building owners and integrators alike benefit.

The BTL mark provides assurance to users that a product has passed industry-standard BACnet conformance tests conducted by a recognized BACnet testing organization (RBTO) . The tests are designed to validate that the product correctly implements a specific set of BACnet functions. The specific BACnet functions that have been tested in a product with a BTL mark are listed in the BTL list associated with that product. Only products that have been independently tested by an RBTO to BTL requirements are eligible for inclusion in the BTL database of tested products . Many building owners and control system designers have concluded that using products that carry the BTL mark speeds system integration and reduces costs.
